Executive Director Position Open
The Lopez Chamber of Commerce board of directors is seeking applicants for their staff leadership position. Lopez is a wonderful location to live, and this is a great job with multiple opportunities to engage in the Lopez community. Currently part-time with the possibility of being full time. Applications and resumes are due March 27th. Proposed start date is April 13th.
The Lopez Island Chamber of Commerce is in place to support our members and offer tourist information to visitors.
We staff a Visitor Information Office in a central location where visitors and residents can come for information on local businesses, current and upcoming events, available activities, restaurant hours, ferry schedules and more. During peak season (July/August) the office is open 7 days a week, 10am-4pm. In the winter months it is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10am-4pm.
The Chamber has been involved in many community activities over the years, the largest being Tour De Lopez which was started in 2004. This event helps defer the cost of maintaining the greatly appreciated Village Park and restrooms.
Members have access to all the resources of the Chamber, including our office space in the village and this website. Your literature can be on display in the office and all member businesses or organizations are listed in our on-line directory. For an additional fee members can be listed in the annual Lopez Island Map and Guide , or the Village Map.
