Come to the 1st Annual Lopez Island Airport Day!

Come and join the fun and learn about our local airport. There will be activities for all ages. The Port will be hosting Airlift Northwest’s helicopter and Island Air Ambulance’s fixed wing Caravan, San Juan Airlines, Island Air Services and more. There will be static displays of local aircraft and vintage cars.

Ever wondered what it is like to fly? If so and you are between the ages of 8 – 17 now is your chance to take a Young Eagle Flight and experience the freedom of flight. Young Eagle flights are conducted by local pilots who are members of the Experimental Aircraft Association and volunteer their time and planes to give youth an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane.
