Vorobik Botanical Arts
Linda Ann Vorobik (www.VorobikBotanicalArt.com), botanist, editor, and illustrator of numerous botanical publications, is a full time resident of Lopez Island, but cherishes all three west coast states as home. She holds a PhD from the University of Oregon, and conducts field research and teaches in the Siskiyou Mountains and other locations, and is affiliated with UC Berkeley and UW Seattle herbaria (pressed plant research collections).
Linda has over 25 years of illustration and college level teaching experience, and is principal illustrator of, for example, A Flora of Santa Cruz Island, A Flora of San Nicolas Island, A Flora of Santa Catalina Island, The Jepson Manual: Vascular Plants of California, and has contributed many illustrations to the Flora of the Pacific Northwest: An Illustrated Manual.
