Transition Lopez Island
Transition Lopez Island is committed to a vision of a resilient, regenerative community, creating new paradigms around issues of local economy, labor share, energy use, movement of goods and people, and food and water security. As part of a worldwide movement of community-scale initiatives, we also partner locally with like-minded groups, including the Lopez Community Land Trust, Lopez Locavores, Lopez Community Trails Network, the ReMakery, and others. In November 2019, we launched our Fossil Free by '33 Campaign which has been focused on the areas of Agriculture/Food, Energy/Transportation, and Plastics/Consumption.
