This small beach is a mix of small pebbles and sand.  It faces west but it tucked in by trees and hills so it is most often shady even at midday in the summer. The parking lot has a small grassy area and picnic table. The Park is open all year long for daytime use. It is a great place to relax after a long bike ride on a hot day.

Where is Blackie Brady County Park?

This Park is one of many great spots at the southern end of Lopez Island. From the Village head south on Fisherman Bay Road, go right on Kjargaard Road that turns into Richardson Road, then a gentle left on to Vista Road. Take a right onto Mud Bay Road, keep going south until you take a right on Aleck Bay Road. Then straight ahead onto Watmough Bay Road continue going straight onto a small dirt road and then take a right down towards the water. The beach is down a steep wooden staircase.
