There are many wonderful parks and public lands on Lopez for day use as well as two overnight camp grounds, Odlin County Park and Spencer Spit State Park. Open fires are only allowed at the overnight camp grounds and only in camp approved fire circles. An illegal fire could be disastrous given the remote location of many of the natural sites open to the public. Please help us protect our island by not having fires in any of our day parks/public lands.
