WSU/Barn Owl Bakery Wheat Trial Field Day 

Join Dr. Brook Brouwer, Director of San Juan County WSU Extension, and Nathan Hodges, co-owner of Barn Owl Bakery and Heritage Grains, for a Field Day on Lopez Island. 


From 2-4pm, Brook and Nathan will present preliminary findings of their organic amendment and seeding rate trial and discuss organic grain production practices. 


From 4:30-6 pm, Barn Owl Bakery will fire up their wood oven and offer pizza by donation.

Proceeds will support the Lopez Island Heritage Grain Project.
