Vigil for the SRKW Orcas & Wake for Talequah’s Baby 

A group of concerned citizens on Lopez are sponsoring what is now a multi-island event to mourn the loss of another Southern Resident Orca whale calf, and to hold a vigil for the remaining critically endangered whales. Come to sing, send your prayers out across the water, or just hold space for these magnificent whales who are hovering on the edge of extinction. This is not a political event.
