The Enchanted Quilters of Lopez Island will fill the interior of the Grange with their colorful handiwork highlighting this past years work by it’s members. Last year the Enchanted Quilters presented a beautiful barn quilt to the Grange that is prominently displayed on the outside north wall of the Grange. Tim Kent, Grange Treasurer, will paint and donate this years barn quilt that will be raffled off to a lucky islander. the day of the event or through the Enchanted Quilters. All of the money raised will go to the Grange Building maintenance fund.
Note: A Barn Quilt is the representation of an individual quilt block painted on wood and attached to the outside of a building.
About The Canote Brothers: Greg and Jere Canote are identical twins whose music is all about having a good time. They do, you will. It’s steeped in vintage Americana ” forgotten fiddle tunes, swing classics, and quirky novelty songs ” but with their own twists (and a few of their brilliant original takes on the world around us). They’re fabulous musicians, moving effortlessly among fiddle, guitar, banjo, ukulele, and various hybrids, and their genetically-matched voices recall brother duets from the Blue Sky Boys to the Everlys.
