Gaza in October – Wonderful & Horrible

Come learn about the current situation in Israel/Gaza. We spent a week on a medical mission trip hosted by the Gaza Community Mental Health Program, visiting some beautiful examples of the human spirit rising against the odds. We were a child psychiatrist, cardiologist, orthopedic surgeon, pediatrician, general practitioner/yoga teacher, hospice nurse, and Lutheran pastor. While we were there Israelis shot protesters, Gazans sent rockets, and Israel bombed with drones and jets.
