Community Listening Forum – Addressing Intergenerational Poverty

Washington Department of Social and Health Services is holding community forums around the state to hear about local, unique experiences of economic hardships and community-led efforts to promote intergenerational opportunity and economic success.

Please come prepared to discuss:

• What are the main drivers of poverty on Lopez Island and is it changing
• What are the most promising community led programs to reduce poverty and create opportunity
• Is there a role for the state to play to promote intergenerational opportunity
