The Lopez ReMakery is a community maker space that offers shared tools and equipment. The goal is to educate our community about the value of repair, reuse and repurposing of post consumer materials locally to seed and grow our circular economy and to reduce the amount of materials shipped off island to distant landfills and recyclers. Weekly classes and workshops offered and a free once a month Repair Cafe. Also, a four week long Maker in Residence (MIR) Program chooses 2 MIR’s who offer speciality classes/workshops and are featured in monthly educational art shows.
