This picnic area and beach is at the end of MacKaye Harbor Road at the south end of the island. Rocky outcrops, tide pools and breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Look for cormorants and occasionally seen puffins nesting on the offshore rocks. Beach access via steep temporary steps from April through October. Parking can be tight. Be respectful of private property in the area. The park has picnic facilities and a beautifully maintained outhouse.
